What it does
RecTrack turns a photo of a receipt into a record you can search, sort and total. It reads the merchant, total, tax, date and line items using the text recognition built into iOS — on your phone, offline.
No account. No cloud. No subscription. Your receipts and photos are
stored on your device and nowhere else. The app makes no network requests at all.
02
Why offline matters
Most receipt apps upload your photos so a server can read them. That means a company holds pictures of where you shop, what you buy and how you pay.
RecTrack does the reading on your phone, so there is nothing to upload, nothing to breach and nothing to sell. It is not a promise about how we behave — it is a description of what the app is able to do.
